MD6003 Week 20 - Animation Exhibition Plans for the Summer Show

During the morning session on 23rd February 2015, I discussed ideas for the animation exhibition at the Summer Show with Mark and other students. Suggestions included displaying an interesting visual at the entrance to invite visitors to the exhibition, providing tabletops to display skethbooks, exhibiting showreels of work from all three years of the course and display plinths for models.

I sketched out a basic floor plan of the animation studio and wrote notes on what could go where, for example each third year student having their own space to display storyboards and production stills printed onto vinyl and mounted onto card and two wall spaces for Aduna projections. I also sketched out an idea of how I would like my own work to be exhibited, such as having my final year film projected onto a projection screen.
