On 5th June 2015, stop-motion animator Richard Haynes visited my university. he studied at Arts University Bournemouth where he produced a 2D animated film about a man using a typewriter (The Typewriter, 2003).

The animation has a flat look to it. Despite this it landed him a job as a stop-motion animator at Aardman and has worked on such titles as The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (2012), Shaun the Sheep (2007 - onwards, which had a good use of anticipation with the quad bike going backwards in its first clip in the showreel), Fifi and the Flowertots (2005 - 2009), Postman Pat, Little Robots (c. 2003) and Rupert Bear: Follow the Magic... (2006). His shortest contract was with the Shaun the Sheep movie for three weeks and his longest contract was with Fifi and the Flowertots for two years. Below is Richard's stop-motion showreel.
