A mood board is similar to a collage or a montage but helps creators get a feel of the outcome of their project. I created one that consists of a basic chain rubber band bracelet to represent the National Autistic Society's 'Be Looming Amazing' campaign; a 'selfie' of myself looking sad because my mother thinks I am dressed funnily; a Post Office Ticket and the Post Office logo to portray my visit to the Houndsditch branch where a lady laughed when she picked up my ticket (although the ticket in the mood board is from the Newport City Centre branch hence the use of both English and Welsh); the National Autistic Society logo to represent the client I wish to work with for my animated public information film about Asperger syndrome; and a still from the animated autobiographical short A Is for Autism (1992).

A mind map, also known as a brainstorm or a spider diagram, is a diagram used to map out ideas and sub categories for a project. I made one using ideas of real life scenarios including a pub outing that made me feel anxious about further social situations, the animation techniques I intend to use and the narrative type I wish to include, which is montage or normal narrative.
