Today I visited the Tate Modern gallery/museum in London to look at some works of modernist art that particularly inspire me, especially those with abstract shapes and vibrant colours I would think that match Aduna's branding. Below are the works I looked at and notes on their most inspirational elements:
Still Life with Beer Mug by Fernand Leger (1921 - 1922, oil on canvas)

The shades of orange and the monochrome fruit bowl are very fitting with Aduna's branding.
Swinging by Wassily Kandinsky (1925, oil paint on board)

The orange and green circles remind me of oranges and baobab fruit respectively.
Ribbon and Tea on Paper by Nicholas Hlobo (2010)

The patterns and the colours of brown, red and orange inspire me for the Aduna brief as well as the fact that this work was produced by a South African artist.
Endless Rhythm by Robert Delaunay (1934, oil on canvas)

The circular patterns and shades of green and orange remind me of oranges and baobab.
Orange Relief on Green by Elsworth Kelly (1991, oil on canvas)

Despite its simplicity, the colours of orange and green are bright , are well-complemented and they fit in with Aduna's branding very well.
Medeic Callisthenic Move by Geta Bratescu (1980 - 81, embroidery on fabric)

These works remind me of fruit that has been cut open, which makes me think of my fruit-cutting experiments at university.
The Return by Philip Guston (1956 - 58, oil on canvas)

The shades of blue, green, brown, red and orange especially remind me of Aduna.
Bust of a Woman by Pablo Picasso (1944, oil on canvas)

The green, yelow and red/orange especially remind me of Aduna.
Ibedes in Aragon by Andre Masson (1935, oil on canvas)

The warm, vibrant colours are especialy fitting with Aduna's branding.
