This advertisement used the technique of pixilation, which is stop-motion animation made from photographic images. A woman chops up a maraca as if it were a red pepper, she then chops a torch that turns into casino chips as if it were a courgette and then she puts these pieces, as well as cotton reels that resemble chicken chunks, onto a skewer. She shakes some Garlic and Herb Oxo Shake and Flavour onto the skewer and it turns into a real chicken kebab. The pixilation technique particularly inspires me for my experemental fruit-cutting exercises and I would consider it for my live brief with Aduna.
