Sid the Science Kid is an educational CGI animated television series for young children where its protagonist Sid learns about various scientific topics. There are five episodes that focus on the senses: The Itchy Tag (touch and texture), What's That Smell? (smell), Grandma's Glasses (sight), Too Much Noise! (sound) and All My Senses, which summarises the four senses covered thus far plus discusses the sense of taste. While I like the episodes that focus on an individual sense, I feel there should have been a separate one on taste but I am glad it was discussed in the All My Senses episode. The elements of this series that inspire me the most are the educational discussion of the senses and the collage-style animated segments shown to accompany Sid's grandmother explaining to him how things were in her childhood.
