FA7036 - London Animation Club 7th June 2016
The guest for the June 2016 club was Peter Millard (below right). He is originally from the Mulvern Hills, he studied animation at the University of South Wales Newport (formerly called University of Wales Newport) and also studied at the RCA.
Before he studied animation he studied IT and business studies.
Peter started with showing his animations he made in Newport, such as an experiment of picking up a coin. His animation has a distinct sketchy look. His animations can be found on Vimeo.
Peter wanted to study his MA at the RCA because he heard it had a good reputation.
Peter also made a compilation of clips featuring Hulk Hogan.
His graduation film is influenced by Sesame Street.
Peter works part time at the Natural History Museum at the weekend, which earned him enough money to own an animation studio.
The still used for the announcement of tonight's event on Facebook was from Unhappy Happy.
Peter shared some photos of himself preparing an exhibition space.
The final video shown was a black screen with God Save The Queen playing over it.
